Traveller rigging ideas

Looking for suggestions to address a rigging problem with my traveller lines. My traveller is just forward of the companion way. Recently, I had a new dodger installed and the installer used zippered openings in the dodger glass for the traveller lines to pass through to the cockpit. The openings were not high enough to allow the lines to be released from the jam clete because the jam cletes sit about a foot off the deck.
The question is whether anyone can suggest what rigging equipment might be used to re-route the lines downward from the blocks so that I don't have to modify the dodger any further. The pictures I attached demonstrate my current rigging in relation to the dodger.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Well, not having luck posting pics...I'll have to figure out how to get my pics in shape to mail

Re Route

to avoid holes in my dodger I run my traveller lines forward to a turning block on the companionway slider frame then back to cleats under the dodger

Cptken's setup looks like a good one, providing the attachment point is strong enough.

I'd say you're going to be stuck with moving the cleats off the traveller and onto the cabintop by the sound of it.

Sorry no picture
Mine goes aft through small holes in the dodger (no cleat at the traveller).

At the aft end of the cabin top I have used spinlock PXR0810/SW, theese alows me to operate the traveller from behind the wheel - just by a little flick of the rope.

Thanks for the pictures Cptken... your set up might be one option for me. I will investigate that setup when I can get back to the boat. I'll also figure out how to reduce the size of my photos and post a few so others can see what my problem is. I am just not that familiar with all the different type of blocks and rigging that might be adaptable to my particular traveller. So when I can get some pictures up, I am hoping someone recognizes what rigging apparatus might do the job. I'll be back.

Hey Cptken, your top starboard traveller block is very similar to mine in that it sits atop a similar raised fiberglass box. What I wanted to do is to bring the line from the top block, aft and down the face of the box to the deck, and then through the bottom of the dodger. Did you consider that? and do you even think it is possible to somehow channel that line vertically to the deck?
I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

Found a picture

The green rope furthest out to starboard is the traveller controll line.
You can see the PXR close to the support leg for the dodger. The tail reaches back to the wheel. An upward flick releases the rope, pulling down locks it. its a 1:4 haul enabling me to adjust it under most conditions.
