Hunter 54 rebuild update (interior)

It's been a while since I posted up progress on the Hunter but it was a ton of work. Here are some before and after shots in this slidshow.

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

There are some other shots of the other stuff we fixed as well. Now we have primer on the hull and are wrapping up the glass work. We paint next week. Exterior shots to follow as we finish.

The reason for the different colored, unfinished wood is that the owner wants to stain and finish it himself. It's all teak.

Wow, thanks for sharing! One of the things I enjoy most coming here is seeing the improvements, repairs and upgrades that people do to their boats. Looks like a lot of heart and soul is going into yours.

Nice work Charlie. Okay - for educational purposes - how many man hours do you think has gone into the interior work alone?

The boat isn't mine, it's a customer's.

Charlie, you & your crew did (do) very nice work.

At local boat yard rates, thats almost $100k...and now you know why older production boats are never restored!!! This is a special type of owner it seems.
