Trim teak caulk

It is sticking up proud on the side decks. The teak is in very good shape. There are maybe two small corners of caulk that need to be redone, so it would be premature to redo it all. It is just high enough that it is hard to scotch brite the decks down with salt water, I'm really just scrubbing across the caulking.

Any high volume trimming tricks? Getting down on hands and knees with an X-acto knife or single edge razor blade is a non-starter. Way too much.

I'm probably not alone in trying to understand the nature of your question. If there are only a couple of spots that are sitting proud of the teak, then spending the time with a sharp chisel (Xacto, razor blade, etc.) or a sanding block seems like a fairly minor inconvenience in the big picture.

Alternatively, you could ignore it and live with it until the time comes to reef out the old and recaulk.

Ah, I think I combined two thoughts. There are only a couple of small spots that need the caulk replaced because it is leaking. All the caulk on the entire 54ft deck is standing proud.

I might just wait it out, but it's making cleaning harder and the proud caulk keeps water from running off as easily as it should.
