When it comes to cable ties the best in my book are T&B (Thomas & Betts) Tyraps. The lock is a little piece of stainless that never slips. The black ones are rated for outdoor use and hold up very well in sunlight. I have some on jobs where they have been in the sun for 20 years and are still going strong.

By the way, the all plastic T&B ones (with ridges for the lock) are junk, T&B bought another company Catamount to get a cheap line.
