Islander 28 electrical diagram

I just bought an Islander 28(1978) that has a saildrive motor and it appears that there is no power to the ignition switch. i was wondering if anyone has a diagram that shows the saildrive wiring. I copyied a diagram from an earlier post but it is for an atomic 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As the engine is not original (I don't think) an Islander elect schematic won't likely help. The saildrive manufacturer's manual is what you need.

is it an OMC Saildrive? I may have a manual.

I remember finding lots of information some years ago when I was looking at a PY26 with a saildrive. I didn't buy the boat but found a lot of information on the web.

Google up "OMC Saildrive Manual" and you will find multiple hits for the manual and parts lists.
