50 amp shore power cable

Is there any difference in a shore power cable that has a blue male end plug? The connector looks the same as a yellow one.

It is the pin configuration that makes the difference, not the color. Different manufacturer probably. Marinco is all yellow for example. I have several 30 amp ends that are grey and green for example. And I have seen all white as well.

The blue ones are usually aftermarket replacements which are almost certainly less water resistant than factory connectors. Probably an overheated and melted pin so someone replaced the connector.
