such a thing really does not exist, yet. A lot of the "green" cleaners are just reformulated kitchen or bath products. None really work, IMHO. And the cost is much higher than the comparable products.
All will "contaminate" the water...according to a lot of folks here. Even diluted vinegar and water will change the PH of the water around the boat. Even the fresh water of an inland lake. I don't think that FYI matters, fish and critters are fish and critters.
I look at the task to be done, use the weakest cleanser and the most elbow grease needed to do the job and move along.
Given the amount of raw sewage that the Harlem plant put in to the Hudson River last week....I am all but sure that our contribution is logarithmically small....and something like that happens weekly or more often, when you count the bypass on rain days...
