82 C27 Batteries

Hi All, just got a 1982 C27 Tall in great shape and starting to look at things to plan out projects. I've looked around for Manf. Lit. for details and no luck.

what I'm looking for:
Battery Locations, currently one battery on starboard side, is this original
Transducer locations, all instruments need to be changed.

I've already had her out and she's great, looking forward to alot of time together and fun.

thanks for the assitance and and advice.
John

Do you have an OB or IB version? if it is an OB version, then it is possible that there is only one battery, ie a house one to run lights etc. If you have an IB, there should be two, one to start the IB, the other for the house/boat, ie lights etc.

Where they go, I do not know. SOmetimes if one hunts the internet, like find a C27 owners page, which I would be VERY SURPRISED, if one does not exist, there are owners manuals for various and sundry years downloadable from the site.

As the owner of an 85 C27 TR inboar the port lazerette (sp) has a molded pan in the deck that holds two batteries.
