So, I go home read your post, dig my old ThermaRest Camp Chair out of the closet and take it sailing. My what a good chair for a small sailboat. One of the nice things is that you can use different tensions on the straps to adjust the support for that slightly skewed sitting position one oftens finds himself in while sailing. And, it doesn't take up a whole bunch of space. And it lays out flat for lying in the cockpit. And at night you can pull out the ThermaRest and augment your berth cushion.
Thanks for a wonderful suggestion.

Re: Cockpit Cushions

EGLLaw - we also chartered with Moorings and took a liking to the cushions you described. We have also called and was told they would get back with us if we emailed. We emailed and waited, and waited. We called again and were told to email. One girl with Horizon told us they sold them. I also will get back with you if we find them. We did find the material and are going to my canvas guy to get quote from him...

Re: Cockpit Cushions

I just bought two of the WM chairs. Got em on sale and had WM bucks. So was a good deal. Otherwise pricey. We find them to work well and as expected. But they are not small so consider storage space. We have huge lazarettes on the HR28 so can handle it but down in cabin would be limiting...

Re: Cockpit Cushions

Damn ... I wish those PPI seats were still available. I need something just like that.

We do already have as below and they are fabulous but I really want something that can attach to a lifeline when the more cumbersome CS type don't quite work.

Outdoor Chairs - Boat Chairs - Comfortseat

The comfort seats are very good though we have had minor problems with the padding getting caught in the mechanism.
