Interchangability of thru-hull transducer makes

My boat currently has a mid-90's Raymarine Tridata instrument with the depth and speed thru-hull transducers. This is probably a dumb question but if I am looking to replace those transducers with another make do I need to install new thru-hull casings/housings? To state it differently, there isn't a universal size for thru-hull transducers, is there?

Thanks,
Eric

tommays will become famous soon enough
There is no one size fits all BUT Airmar for example made them for a LOT of different brands and offers a lot of of interchanges

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

You might get lucky and find at least the same diameter housing. May still need to change it, but at least you won't be making a bigger hole.
