Hello all, looking for posts or people that have used or are using one now. Have been doing lots or research on them and would like to get some feed back as to pros and cons. Thanks Jeff

Your main prop shaft or an auxiliary system?

These are reported to be excellent but pricey. 10 amps @ 5 knots and 40 amps @ 8 knots.

Off of the existing prop shaft ,mount a pulley and low speed alternator so it charges when sailing. People have used them for 60 years just trying to get some good new feedback from others. Cheers
