How to Modify Hours on a Tachometer

Quick question: I just replaced my engine, but the engine panel was not swapped out. Is there a way to roll back the hours on a tachometer to zero it out, or am I going to need a new tach?

As always, thanks.

Swap out the tach, is still your best bet. I don't think they allow you to "counter-spin" them, like the old odometers.

Good call, I guess I bite the bullet and get a new tach. Thanks.

Keep it.

Why not just make an official note of the engine swap in your ship's log book and keep the old hour meter?

If you are willing to risk breaking it, you can try putting it on higher voltage and see how fast you can run it. If that works you can run it forward to 0000 again.
