Sun cover for ST60 TriData Instrument

If anyone has a sun cover for the old ST60 surface mount Tridata Instrument, I sure would like to buy it.
They are out of production and can't even find one with Google search.
For reference it is on a 1995 H336.
Please PM me if there is one out there.
Thanks
John

John,

You mean this one? Looks to me like RM is still selling them (although you may have found out differently.)

Here's one that's listed as for ST-60+ surface mounts. I've got both ST-60 and ST-60+ instruments -- I know that a 60+ cover will fit on 60 head.

If you just want to protect the instruments from UV, you could always just make some covers -- Good Old Boat's got an article that somebody wrote about stiching some bungy cord into the hem of some scrap Sunbrella. It'd work as well.

St 60 cover

PorFin:
RM out of covers.
However if the ST60+ will fit, I will give that a try.
Or I may make one.
Thanks
John

BTW no hits on eBay.

Re: Sun cover for ST60 TriData Instrument

I have Raymarine instruments on my Beneteau and after I lost one sun cover and had another one pinched by someone I discovered that Raymarine no longer make the older ST60 sun covers, and the ST60+ sun cover, whilst still advertised, is not that easy to get.

Not to be beaten, so I had them made !

The ST60 style sun cover is an alternative to Raymarine’s Part No. A25004 and the ST60+ style sun cover is an alternative to Raymarine's Part no. A25004-P. They are the exact same colour and size as the original Raymarine part.

These covers are manufactured from UV stabilised polypropylene and have a wall thickness 25% greater than the original part so they will hold their colour and shape for much longer.

If anyone else is missing their sun covers and would like to purchase replacements (or spares for future) send an email to info@marinelogic.com.au or visit www.marinelogic.com.au

Alternatively, see eBay listings here : eBay listings

We will post covers internationally, please contact us for international shipping costs. As a guide we can post from 1 to 5 covers to NZ for $8.00, to USA/Canada for $10.50 and to UK/Europe for $12.50. For larger quantities please contact us.

Two photos of the older ST60 style sun cover appear immediately below, and below this are two photos of the newer ST60+ style sun cover.

Great idea, wish I had thought to do it.
