How to seal screws - deck hardware

Hello!
any advise to seale non trought bold screws? Procedure? Sealant?

I am also interested in this. I understand that butyl tape is the best for bolts, but I am still confused about screws. From what I have read, polysulfide is recommended the most for screws.

If you are using screws to attach an item to the deck I would use the same procedure as if it is through bolted. Sealant between the item and the deck with the holes for the screws countersunk to create an O ring where it is needed most. Sealant can be Sika Flex or 3M 4200. Butyl requires good compression and works best if the item can be through bolted.

thanks Mitiempo,
I used the butyl tape to seal trought bold like stanchion and big mooring cleats but i've a lot of stuff screwed only like small metal plates, screw for sprayhood, screw for small cleats etc etc..
I know the procedute for butyl and i did that..but i'm little confused for the other stuff.
