Garmin Auto Pilot Questions

Hello Fellow Sailors:

Does anyone have any experience with the new touch screen Garmin chart plotter units coupled with the Garmin Autopilot.

I have a 49 foot Beneteau sailboat and was warned that there are problems with the Garmin Auto Pilot steering a large displacement boat. I am trying to sort fact from fantasy.

The issue will not be the screen; it will be the ability of the hydraulic ram to deal with the size of the vessel and the sea state.
