Chainplate break!!
 

I recently had a chainplate break on my 27 Ericson and was lucky enough to have the break visible just below the deck and was able to attach and bolt a brace between the two visible sections after grinding away the "old" s/s.
However what normally happens if the break is in the glassed part of the hull?? To grind it all out seems like an impossibe job!
