Generator replacement
I have a 22 yr old 6Kw Onan which seems to be frozen after years of non use by the previous owner of my Hardin 45.
Has anyone looked at replacing or placing a portable (200lbs) diesel generator in lieu of a built-in marine genset? I realize there are some modifications necessary, ie., exhaust, fuel pump etc. But the price for a 4.8Kw at 1500 sounds reasonable.
