Mirage 30 rudder

I have heard of several incidents of rudders coming off of Mirage 30''s. Does anyone have any knowledge of this problem? Is it due to corrosion? Excessive wear? Something else? Any information greatly appreciated.

Also, at certain RPM''s I hear a rattle in the area of the prop. Also when sailing and turning sharply one way or the other. Any ideas on what it might be?
