ICOM PCR1000 Weatherfax

Trying to connect new ICOM PCR1000 to Laptop.
Tried 3 separate software programs. JVComm32,Bonito and ICOM.
Hooked up all cables.
Power,serial,ground and antenna.
Switched internal switch "phones" and "speaker"
Unable to receive any signal at all.
Any suggestions?
