Furling Main
Hi, I'm looking for a larger sailboat for a live aboard, how long does a furling main last?

That depends entirely on how you use it, in what conditions, and how often. Too many variables for anyone else to give you a meaningful number.

I have a 1976 CAl 46 with a furling main that was added in 1995. The furler still works fine.
