My experience is that you can buy older electronics by the kilo. Think of the money you save. New stuff , even bargain quality, probably interfaces and works. That said ,my 24 mile Furuno from the 80s still works well but first sign of Not and the whole thing is out of here. On a dark and stormy night I'm saving a few bucks?
