Teak/Ipe supplier

Where do you find a supplier that doesn't make you buy a truckload? Any help is appreciated.

bljones has a spectacular aura about bljones has a spectacular aura about
how much do you need, and what dimensions?

I have some I can part with, in lengths up to 3'.

For more variety in size, there is always West Marine:
VAN DE STADT Teakwood at West Marine
or Noah's:
Noah's Marine Supplies Online Store - Teak
or, since you are down east, try these guys:
Teak « Anchor Hardwoods

I would also add the Teakhut as they are reasonably priced (Less than half the price of Worst Marine) Teakdecking Systems®
They also have an ebay store Teakhutonline store on eBay!

Do you need to go to the expense of teak for the interior?

This one's not mine so not sure yet, will see how owner wants to finish out. Lining up suppliers for a project while owners work overseas a couple years. What other wood types would be acceptable? Thinking Teak trim and teak/holly sole.

I've found cherry to have a tight grain and is very comparable to teak,,,used it on both interior and exterior applications on me ole boat,,,when cleaned each season and oiled no one at my club can tell the difference(exterior), between the teak combing (7') and the cherry handrails(8')..4 years and holding strong
