L.E.D. Masthead Nav. Lights?

Does anyone know of any sources for l.e.d. masthead navigational lights? Also, has anyone seen any ideas for retrofitting an incandescent fixture to use diodes? I am refitting my boat and while the mast is down, I would like to upgrade to something that would have a longer bulb life and less battery draw. Any ideas would be welcome.

BEWARE these are not cheap !.

Plus even though they are "just" as bright (or brighter) I''m not sure they are 100% "officially certified". But I would probably use them though

Thanks for that information. Incidentally, the current issue of Cruising World includes a practical solution for conversion of cabin fixtures. It looks like reasonably priced manufactured alternatives are a generation or two down the development road. Sorry to say that the slow progress on my refit may accomodate those developments.
