Always willing to live on the edge - I took the guts out of our Princess alcohol stove and replaced everything with the guts from a camp stove. So far it's worked like a charm.



Mmmmm- mac-and-cheese. Goes perfectly with...



I've since made things a little safer than the initial IED shown in the above photo by running a gas hose from the stove to the bottle which is now kept in the cockpit when cooking. And we obviously only keep it connected when cooking on occasional overnighters.

Dangerous? Hell yeah. But, hey, if anything bad is gonna happen. It's gonna happen out there. Right?

(PS - It should now be perfectly clear why no one should ever take any advice from me.)
