Volvo Penta MD3B Marine Diesel For Sale

I don't know if this is the right forum, but I'm pulling my Volvo Penta MD3B marine diesel out of my sailboat. The boat and diesel haven't moved for 20 years I don't think, and the engine only has a total of 500 hours on it. Surprisingly, the engine isn't seized and turns over just fine. Hooked it up to a battery and it fired right away. Haven't tried to get it running as it's still in the boat and the water pump is corroded, the hoses aren't connected, and the fuel is unquestionably in poor shape. The transmission appears to be inoperable also as it looks like there's a crack of some sorts in the housing. The compression sounds good, and it turns over easy, so I think it probably runs ok once some parts are tossed on it. If anyone is interested, feel free to email me. I haven't even contemplated a price, but the boat/engine are in Southern California, so local interested parties would be most convenient to avoid shipping costs/issues.
