Beneteau 375 1985 holding tank

the factory installed fibreglass holding tank located under the stern settee/in front of the rudder post has a fibreglass lid that appears to have been rivetted on and the sealed by the factory. The lid is now longer sealed and is leaking when the tank is partially full. Has any tried reapring/resealing one of these holding tanks??
