Autohelm AH 800

My Autohelm Model AH 800 has quit working. Mechanically it works fine that is it responds to commands but will not settle in on a new course....but continues to go in circles after giving it a command. I have narrowed the problem down to the "Printed Circuit Board". I sail my little 25 ft sloop very often, and single handed 95% of the time. I think I took it for granted and did not realize how much I relied on it. I miss it very much. Autohelm has been taken over by Raymarine and living in Canada I am having difficulty contacting them. I would like to find out if this part might still be available and approx cost. Perhaps someone might be living in an area where this company is located that could provide some information. Would greatly apreciate any help on this. Thank You.

Bill

Autohelm AH 800

I just had my instruments and 4000 autopilot checked out and some repairs done at Raymarine. Had a great experience. I just sent them in to the address on their web site. The tech who handles autopilots and instruments called me within 48 hours of receiving the items and discussed the repairs. He took the time to explain things and was extremely helpful. No cost (except shipping) until you understand and authorize repairs. This is one of the big reasons I like Raymarine electronics--I''ve consistently gotten great service.
However, if the autopilot is old, you might be better off with one of their new 2000 units.
FWIW.
