I just had my instruments and 4000
autopilot checked out and some repairs done at
Raymarine. Had a great experience. I just sent them in to the address on their web site. The tech who handles
autopilots and instruments called me within 48 hours of receiving the items and discussed the repairs. He took the time to explain things and was extremely helpful. No cost (except shipping) until you understand and authorize repairs. This is one of the big reasons I like
Raymarine electronics--I''ve consistently gotten great service.
However, if the
autopilot is old, you might be better off with one of their new 2000 units.
FWIW.
