Changing Sheaves

I have a 1987 322 Oday and have to change the sheaves. Has anyone done it and what size do I need. I cant find the info on the net or in the owners book.

Find out who made the spar, then go to www.rigrite.com as one source for parts and info. I know that O''Day used some Isomat spars, but probably used other makes, too. Rig Rite handles Isomat, Kenyon and probably some others, too. Most manufacturers in those days shopped around for the best deals and would change equipment at the drop of a hat.

All the time :), tape a piece of string onto the sheave and roll it around so you don''t drop it in the mast. once you have then out, you can see what you need. I am happy to make you some new delrin sheaves, or locate pre-made ones.

Ed Louchard at zephyrwerks.com made me some new oilite bearings for my sheaves at a fair price and was pleasant to work with.
