Rotating Mast Grease

I'm looking for advice about what kind of grease to use in the bearing of my rotating mast. The bearing itself is a ball and socket type joint. The base is mounted on the deck and is about the size of a large cantaloup. It has a grease fitting that allows me to inject grease into the bearing while the mast is stepped. The mast itself weighs several hundred pounds and of course the compression on the base is much higher when the rig is fully loaded. My research has turned up a bewildering array of grease types. The only thing that I'm certain about is that its viscosity needs to be greater that lubriplate or standard winch grease. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Mobilgrease CMS withstands high pressure and is highly water resistant. It is widely used in mining and construction EQ. If it's unavailable locally, you can find it on Amazon.
