Sail Covers

Hello,

Am in the process of ordering a new sail cover for my 33'' sloop. Has anyone have something good to say about their covers and where they purchased them? Any special features I should be aware of? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

Sail Covers

A few of us have made our own. Kits are available(SailNet) but Sunbrella is much cheaper on E-Bay. I bought a 10 yard roll recently, 60" wide, for $90. incl. shipping.

One feature I like is having it cover the mast to the deck. If your lines are at the mast like mine then they are covered along with the cleats and winches.

The link is to a friend''s boat. All DIY.

Sail Covers

My main and wheel covers are fastened with Velcro. Love it. I''ve had the boat for 6 years and the covers came with it. The covers are shot and ready for replacement and the velcro is also. Point is, the velcro has lasted as long as the covers.
