Bristol 27 OB motor installation

I need some info re: outboard motor bracket (15 hsp)for Bristol 27 '' sailboat . I do not want to keep the motor in the stern well as it causes drag & sea growth that always fouls motor .
What bracket do I need ? Will I need any additional hardware or wedges to insure proper degree of installation ? Do I need to provide additional support to the stern Inside the well ? If you know how to do it or can recommend addition info ,please respond . thanks , billsails

I had a simlar problem with my Lancer 29. I removed the nasty old OMC saildrive and went with an outboard on my transom. I also dragged the prop in the water.I put a wooden outboard mount on the top rail of my stern pulpet. I hate moving it back and forth though so I am coming up with a HIGH lift motor mount. A mount that will bring the power head up even with the top rail when not in use.
