Hi C36''ers !
I just bought a Waltz gimbaled
radar mount at a good price. Now i''m told i also need to purchase a sailguard ring ($395) to protect my head sail from snagging on the raydome and the mount .
is there anyone out there that could give me some advice? do i need the sailguard? has anyone had experience with Waltz gimbaled mounts? without the sailguard?
i''d really appreciate any information /thouhts you might have.
