Generator Noise
I have a Sun Magic 44 with a Koboto 6KVA fitted in the port aft lazerette.
The actual generator noise does not disturb anybody. But the exhaust and cooling water slashes hard against the seawater surface does. This makes a surprising amount of noise.
I am thinking of two solutions, firstly maybe to install a Exhaust water
separator - expensive or secondly put a plate over the outlet with a gap
around so that the water exhaust mix hits this first and then only runs down
the side of the hull to the sea.
