2 good large CNG tanks to get rid of

Hi everyone. Just converted from CNG to LP, and I don't need my tanks any more. They are the large style. Look like very tall scuba tanks. They are clean and recently painted and have a current hydro on them. They are fillable with the new style valve on them. They are corp brothers tanks. They are shippable but they are heavy. Located in St. Augustine FL, the city with Sailors Exchange in it.

I also have the four jets that you can use to convert an LP stove to a CNG stove if you like.

And I have the regulator with gauge that goes with this type of tank. Also a length of hose. These items came with the CNG stove I purchased then converted to LP. All offers will be considered.

If I might suggest? Will they let you put up a "for sale" sign at the local CNG filling station? Since the folks who already have (just0 one tank, might snatch up a second.

Question Re: 2 good large CNG tanks to get rid of

Do those tanks have time limits? What are they?
(I suspect that they are dated and have a future death date
which is a safety fudge to limit fatigue cycles. Correct me
if I'm wrong please!)

Re: 2 good large CNG tanks to get rid of

AFAIK they all require hydro testing, probably every 5 years. Should cost $25-50 per tank for that if you aren't using too many middlemen. Which is another reason that many folks just swap out tanks, leaving that to the gas company, just as with bbq tanks.
