Zeer: Low tech fridge

Has anyone tried out this type of refrigeration on board --->The Pot-in-Pot Refrigerator: Zeer - Go Self Sufficient?

Any thoughts on how well it might work at sea, and using salt water? Securing it would be a b#@@#. Could be worth the hassle though for long passages and such.

Re: Zeer: Low tech fridge

Relying on evaporation, it will be considerably less efficient in a humid environment. I'm stickin' with the fridge.
