DIY Yard in MIA / FLL area

Hello all. I have to haul my boat for a bottom job, perhaps a topside paint and whatever I find. I'm looking to bring the boat close to home in FLL, so that I can more easily get to her to do work after work on weekdays, etc.

The two places I have spoken to so far want almost $600 for two weeks, plus I have to buy the bottom paint from them at very inflated prices.

If anyone lives/sails in the area, can you recommend a DIY boatyard up here that won't rip me off (as much)?

Appreciate the link, but the region they are talking about is four+ hours away in central Florida.

I'm looking for something specifically withing 20 miles N or S of Fort Lauderdale. i see boat yards everywhere, but trying to sort through them online to figure out which are DIY seems impossible so far, which is why I'm hoping there is someone in the area who knows and is also on SN!

Indiantown Mariana is located in Stuart. According to google its about an hour and a half from Ft. Lauderadale. Don't know of any other place down around Lauderdale thats DIYand cheap.

There are no options for DIY and Cheap.

There are options for DIY...those are either Playboy Marine in Dania/Fort Lauderdale, Marina Road Boat Yard off of SR-84 in Davie, & Crackerboy in Riviera Beach/West Palm Beach.

You have to leave the region to get cheap and DIY. Just the nature of the beast.
