But I would imagine that you'll be able to find C22 parts around if you look a bit and are able to do some rehabilitation. If you do find a C22 rudder, make sure that the pintles are good. Some of them (like mine) have a steel pin set in aluminum, and they can suffer from galvanic corrosion. On my old one, the aluminum turned powdery and was breaking off in chunks before I replaced it.

Thanks for the advice. I don't mind doing a little wood work but the metal work is not for me. I'll be sure to check the pintles. The good thing about those are replacements aren't terribly expensive on CD.
I guess if I found one really close in style and size i could get the gudgeon off of the donor boat provided the mounting holes are the same. Hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for and won't have to go with one from another boat. There are lots of Cats to be had as I'm finding out with every search so she'll have her steering back in no time.
