Overhead recessed lights

You've seen these a hundred times. They have a 1.625" clear diffuser lens, with a small black slide switch on the light, that take a 12v-10watt halogen bulb.

Anyone know where to get replacements lens for these? They have little tabs on the sides that notoriously break off.

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

Re: Overhead recessed lights

Are these stock on your Jeanneau? Do they not offer replacements? If you remove the entire fixture, there may be some identification on the back.

Yes, they are stock, but I've seen them on many boats. I'm sure I could get them from Jeanneau, but that is always quite expensive. Often smarter to source things like this oneself.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get a photo from the iPad to this site.

This should work on any device :

Upload the picture to tinypic.com using "message board" resize resolution. (makes it the ideal size to fit in a post)

Then paste the "message board" IMG code into your post.

Like this :

How do I upload a pic from an iPad to tinypic.com?

Re: Overhead recessed lights

Got pics to a PC to upload. Here they are.

Any idea where to find them?

I hate to call Jeanneau for small plastic parts. They must convert them from platinum and then have a member of the royal family carry them to the states.

Re: Overhead recessed lights

Not helping, but is that counter in the Jeanneau? It's beautiful!

What royal family? The French royal family has been dead for centuries. They developed a slight problem wherein their heads were no longer attached to their bodies.
