C&C 30 MK1 Clew to outhaul and tack to goos neck to

K i know I'm new at this, "But" is there a pin or shackle to be used for securement of the mainsail clew to the outhaul and the tack to the goosneck? On Sunday I used some line I found and tied a bowline. But it sure did not look right to me? I recived a box full of tackle. Doubles and singles and the like. But not sure about the main sail conections? Here is some of the stuff I got with the sale.

Anybody know what this might be used for???

There are many ways to do this.

Our main is on with a standard shackle at the clew and and elongated one at the outhaul.
I prefer not to use a snap schackle also on halyards as if they come loose your halyard ca go up the mast

I suggest wiring and taping the pin in

Wow, that's a lot of nice hardware you got there. I'd expect a shackle to connect to the outhaul, and for the tack to have a grommet through which you pin it. At least that's how it is on my smaller C&C.
