Repair Mast Reciever
I acquired a 1975 American Fiberglass 14' sailboat. The boat had capsized at one point and the mast receiver was ripped off of the deck. There doesn't appear to be any other damage and the boat is complete with all parts.
I'd like to see what is involved with repairing the receiver myself. I have limited knowledge with boats and have never worked with fiberglass before. Can anyone make recommendations on how to go about this repair or perhaps suggest a good place to begin researching? Is there a thread covering this type of repair already? What fiberglass / epoxy products or kits will I most likely need to purchase?
I've included pictures of the boat and damaged part. Thank you.
