Replacement Depth finder Display

The Uniden QT206 depth finder display that came with my p26 is busted and I have not been able to find a replacement. Everywhere that lists selling it on google has them backordered/not selling them anymore. The transducer is 200khz and presumably still good though. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement? I've seen a few on defender but they all come with the transducer and all I need is a new display. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Replacement Depth finder Display

How about this:

1) Watch Craigslist to see if one comes up.
2) Watch E-bay to see if one comes up.
3) Start calling the consignment shops around the country and see if they have one. You can find info on a grunch of them here at sailnet by googling with the following terms typed exactly as shown:

site:sailnet.com consignment

I see you live close to me. My favorite consignment shop close to us is Bacon Sails in Annapolis. I have found them friendly and consistently helpful. Their phone number is 410-263-4880. If you have never been there, take a trip down sometime and spend an hour looking through their stuff. They are open Saturday mornings during the sailing season (which it now). Last Winter I bought a used sail from them and this Spring I bought a used cockpit table, both at a fraction of the new cost.

Re: Replacement Depth finder Display

I recently had my head unit fail on a Navman display that has been discontinued. The thought of mounting a new transducer, wiring etc was making me mad but I hit the forums and discovered that most head units will work with the existing transducer, also 200mhz. I bought an Eagle Eye unit for $100 including the transducer. I now have the shoot through the hull transducer in the spare parts box for the day when the previously mounted one fails. I

I think you could mount several different brands of head units on that transducer simply by splicing the lines together. I'm sure there are tons of cheap used units on Ebay or at your local surplus store.
