Re: Ratcliffe windvanes????

I would greatly appreciate any paperwork you have related to the Ratcliffe windvane. I have one that also has a trim tab. I have no idea how the whole thing operates. I will buid a self-standing mount for the windvane this weekend so that I might play with it on my back porch in an attempt to figure it out.

My Sailnet account is new so I can't send a PM but can now receive/read PMs. Please send me your email addrees, and I will respond over mine.

SVTatia
I saw your post on Ratcliffe windvanes and would very pleased if you could be so kind as to send me a copy of the original documentation you mentioned in this post.
"I have the original documentation for mine, and if they are somewhat similar this could be useful. I think most of them had the same components, except for the dimensions and in water pieces."

Thanks for your time and assistance,
Karl

Re: Ratcliffe windvanes????

Hi, all
I am a new member and cant send P.M's., I am currently in the process of buying a boat that has a Ratcliffe windvane but can't find any info on the unit! If anyone has any info/manuals/pictures or whatever regarding Ratcliffe windvanes I would be very interested in getting my hands on that info.

Thanks,
Karl

Re: Ratcliffe windvanes????

Hello SVTatia,

I know this is an old post but if you still have documentation for the Radcliff Windvane, I would love to get a copy from you. I just purchased a 22' Falmouth Cutter that came with one of these units and need to figure out how it all went together.

My email is dave.wessel@gmail.com

Thank you.

Dave
