Map For Garmin

I have purchased a GPSMAP 176C and now need to purchase some maps. Which ones would be best:
1)to use while traveling the roads of NC & SC
2)to use aboard while in the Bahamas & VIs
3)to use aboard along the NC & Virg coast

Thanks for your help

I have a different Garmin unit, but also use the BlueCharts, which are fantastic.
I would think you want to get the appropriate Blue Chart CD Americas for the offshore areas arounf North or South America, see http://www.garmin.com/cartography/mapSource/bluechartCD.jsp
According to the Garmin website , your unit should have the Americas Highway BlueChart as the base map, giving you all the road coverage you could desire out of the box.

Good luck.
