Dickinson Newport heater

curently I use a Dickinson diesel heater / stove and it stinks, thay have the lital door just over the burner and I can not get the draft to work without running the fan, and if you are in the cockpit the smell will give you a head ach. I am thinking about putting in a propane stove and a Dickinson newport heater for the heat, has any one had any luck with these, do thay still smell, and out side if the vent is near the cocpit will it caouse problems???

I`d double chack and make sure it was installed correctly. In particuliar, check to see that the stove pipe is the proper length, as this can greatly effect draft.
Check with Dickinson website for the recommended length and installation.
