Re: Any experience with Garhauer??

the best, simply the best. I ordered a radar pole and engine hoist. Added up the components and they were the lowest, then they told me the hoist was already in the price.

Wonderful quality, great product and design and fabulous value. What more can I say?

Very good experience with them in the past. Order stanchions, traveller, blocks and all arrived quickly. They've been great to work out what gear i needed as well. Hopefully it's just a one time problem with them.

I second the quality of merchandise and friendly service. I know it is much more difficult today to speak with someone with all the computer answering machines but you just can't beat a one-on-one conversation.

Re: Any experience with Garhauer??

Well I order and dinghy motor lifting arm from them and while they seem pretty laid back they came through with the product in a reasonable amount of time. I think they have good quality in their products. I have several on my Catalina 36.

Good Luck!

Re: Any experience with Garhauer??

I'm an email person too. It's so much easier to send and email and get the information you need in writing, but I know some companies just don't work that way.

I purchased davits from them three years ago. I was having an issue with one of the blocks and talked to them at the Chicago Boat Show... he reached over and took the one off the display right then and there to make it right.

I also purchased midship cleats from them that were a bit too long. They took them back and custom made a new set for me with the length I needed for free.

Awesome company!
