Gulfstar deck fills

Does anyone know who manufactured the 3 3/4" deck fills on the 1978 Gulfstar 43'cc ketch ?

Re: Gulfstar deck fills

I do not and even if someone did does not mean they are the same on your boat. Boat builders would often buy stuff in limited quantities from the bidder. Next purchase could be from a completely different company.

Why do you ask? You looking for caps? I had some on my '85 Ericson that are no longer made and had a non-standard thread which no one made when I was looking for a replacement. I ended up replacing the entire deck fill.

Re: Gulfstar deck fills

Harmon,

I think your measurements may be off -- deck fills are typically sized according to the ID of the hose that attaches to them, so 3.75" is a HUGE deck fill. Most are 1.5"; some fuel fills are 2" to accommodate the larger pump nozzles at commercial docks.
