Cetrek Autopilot

I have a Cetrek Autopilot on my sailboat I just bought. The motor is mount below deck and works, it is cable operated, there was no other equipment. I was told some other autopilot equipment will work with the motor does anyone know anything about what will work with a Cetrek motor

Re: Cetrek Autopilot

The Cetrek hydraulic autopilot which came with my Seabird 37 was not working (could not reset it after several attempts) so I replaced it this spring with a Raymarine SX10 Smartpilot with a ST6002 control head. The old hydraulic pump was ok so I used it together with the existing rudder reference unit. The installation was quite straightforward and the new unit works very well. The Raymarine can drive an electric motor and cable system as well I believe.

cheers
