plumbing Catalina 27

Hello Everyone,

I am replumbing my Catalina 27 1974. Including updating from a direct discharge head to a holding tank.

I drew out a plumbing plan and Any input would be highly appreciated.
Also one thing I could not figure out was, do I need a vented loop between the waste pump and the thru hull for overboard discharge?

Thanks everyone in advance.

Markus

Your plans look well thought out. As far as your question regarding the need for a vented loop between the macerator pump and the thru-hull, I don't believw one is ncessary. Here is a diagram of a typical sanitation plumbing system courtesy of West Marine Advisor.

Mine has a vented loop that comes off the toilet and then goes to a Y-valve that feeds either the holding tank or the through-hull.
