New woodenboat project and no time to waste...

So, now that we delivered Anomaly, it's time for a blitzrestore on Happy Talk, the K-50 in our shop. Complete strip of the hull, fasteners from the Garboard turn to the waterline, wood work topside, paint and varnish. All to be done by August first so she can celebrate her fitieth at the Port Townsend Woodenboat Festival.

Here she is on day nine.

The boys stripped the bottom paint in 12 hours from start to finish after a 48 hour soak. Crazy....

Much further along as of today. More pictures soon.

That hull looks to be in good shape for mahogany. Pretty. Makes me want to own a wood boat again.....Only kidding!! Makes my back and arms hurt just looking at it. I'm sure she'll be show-stopper when you're done. What year is she?
