Question Transom thickness?

Anyone know the thickness of the transom on a Tartan 37? Getting ready to install a wind generator and want to make sure my screws are the right size before starting the work. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Transom thickness?

you will likely want to use stainless bolts (several) that will go all the way through the transom glass, mounting pads as well as backing plates on each side.......simply running screws in to the glass is not going to work...

Re: Transom thickness?

Just get some long bolts, and backing pad. Install, then cut the bolts off. Dress up the end with a file, or put a crown nut on the tip.
